Nurse & Single Mom Facing Stage 4 Breast Cancer #TEAMSYDNIE
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I am reaching out with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit to ask for your support for my beloved mother, Sydnie. She is currently battling stage 4 breast cancer, a fierce and relentless adversary that has dramatically impacted her life and ours.
As a single mother, my mom has poured her heart and soul into raising my sister and me. She has been our unwavering pillar of strength, always putting us first, even when it meant sacrificing her own comfort. Her love and dedication have been the foundation of our lives. Whether it was staying up late to help with school projects, offering words of encouragement during tough times, or simply holding us close when we needed it most, she has been the heart of our family.
Her nurturing spirit extends far beyond our home. Professionally, she has also been a dedicated leader, serving as the Vice President of SEIU 121 RN Union, where she fought tirelessly for her colleagues and improved conditions in the healthcare sector. Her compassion and tireless advocacy reflect the same warmth and care she has always shown to us.
Now, as she faces her own battle with cancer, the financial burden of ongoing treatments, medications, and essential care has become overwhelming. It’s heart-wrenching to see someone who has given so much to others now struggling with this immense challenge. We’ve created this GoFundMe page to help alleviate some of these financial stresses, so we can focus on what truly matters: ensuring her comfort, well-being, and precious moments with us.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Your generosity will help cover medical expenses, therapy sessions, and other necessary expenses.
My mom’s love has been a beacon of light in our lives, guiding us through every storm and celebrating our every triumph. Her ability to lift us up, even when facing her own hardships, is a testament to her incredible strength and heart. Now, it's our turn to support her in her time of need.
We deeply appreciate any support you can offer, whether through a donation or by simply sharing this page with others. Your compassion and kindness mean the world to us during this challenging time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this journey. Together, we can make this difficult path a bit easier and show my mom just how much she is loved and cherished.
With heartfelt gratitude and hope,
