A woman known for her quiet strength now faces eviction, unpaid bills, and lost stability.

The Nura Support Fund is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of a resilient woman living here in Southern California, who is quietly facing the most challenging chapter of her life. After dedicating years to supporting others through her work in customer care and project coordination, she was laid off without warning due to budget cuts.

Since then, she’s been doing everything she can to stay afloat, applying for jobs, freelancing, and trimming every expense, but the financial pressure is mounting fast. She is now facing the risk of eviction if she can’t cover her rent this month. Bills for her car, utilities, health insurance, groceries, and lingering student loans are all due at once, and the weight is becoming unbearable.

She even reached out to her apartment management to request a payment plan and was denied. She reached out to the county she resides in for assistance, but was denied rental and utility assistance due to being found ineligible. With limited options and time, she’s in urgent need of support, and it is urgent that she receives $2300 within the next 5 days to cover rent before she gets evicted.

The goal is to raise $50,000 to help stabilize her life and rebuild her livelihood.

This includes:

Covering her current rent to prevent eviction

Keeping her utilities from being shut off

Paying urgent car payments and insurance

Providing breathing room to get back to work

Investing in tools and opportunities to rebuild her career
