NUOVA VITA AGLI STRUMENTI STORICI FARFISA

Ciao sono Claudio Capponi, presidente dell'Associazione Culturale Farfisa.

Per 22 anni sono stato al servizio della Farfisa, la più grande Azienda europea produttrice di strumenti musicali (fisarmoniche, pianoforti acustici, chitarre acustiche, organi elettronici e sintetizzatori) molti dei quali sono stati utilizzati da grandissimi musicisti e gruppi musicali come Pink Floyd, Elton John, Genesis, Van Der Graaf Generator, Tangerine Dream, The Doors, Frank Zappa, Zucchero Fornaciari, Led Zeppelin e tantissimi altri.

Per omaggiare la Farfisa, nata nel 1946 e chiusa definitivamente nel 1998, ho creato l'Associazione Culturale Farfisa per tramandare la storia di questa grande Azienda alle nuove generazioni affinchè il lavoro, lo studio del suono e la tecnica utilizzata nei suo storici strumenti musicali non si perda nel tempo.

Attraverso l'Associazione, assieme ad enti e istituzioni, organizziamo eventi come mostre, conferenze e dimostrazioni che richiamano moltissimi appassionati, musicisti ed amatori di questi strumenti, che sono alla base della nostra missione.

Il nostro nuovo obiettivo è restaurare esteticamente ed elettronicamente tutti gli stumenti in possesso dell'Associazione, per fare solo qualche esempio: Serie Compact, Serie Fast, Serie Professional, per poterli mettere a disposizione dei musicisti che potranno finalmente suonarli e comprendere l'evoluzione dei suoni dai primi anni Sessanta fino alla fine della produzione Farfisa.

Vorremmo infine dare una "casa" degna e definitiva alle fisarmoniche, pianoforti, chitarre, organi elettronici e sintetizzatori Farfisa della nostra collezione, affinchè possano finalmente rivivere ed avere la giusta collocazione storica.

Ora più che mai abbiamo bisgogno anche del tuo sostegno.

Hi all, I'm Claudio Capponi, president of the “Associazione Culturale Farfisa”.

For 22 years I have been employed in Farfisa, the largest European manufacturer of musical instruments (accordions, acoustic pianos, acoustic guitars, electronic organs and synthesizers) many of which have been used by great musicians and musical groups such as Pink Floyd, Elton John, Genesis, Van Der Graaf Generator, Tangerine Dream, The Doors, Frank Zappa, Zucchero Fornaciari, Led Zeppelin and many others.

To honor the Farfisa, founded in 1946 and definitively closed in 1998, I created the Cultural Association Farfisa to pass on the history of this great company to the new generations in order that the work, the study of sound and the technique used in his historical musical instruments does not lost in time.

Through the Association, together with public entities and institutions, we organize events such as exhibitions, conferences and demonstrations that attract many fans, musicians and lovers of these instruments, which are the basis of our mission.

Our new goal is to restore aesthetically and electronically all the Farfisa’s instruments owned by the Association, to give just a few examples: Compact Series, Fast Series, Professional Series, to make their use still possible by musicians who will finally be able to play them and understand the evolution of sounds from the early 1960s to the end of Farfisa production.

We should also like to give a worthy and definitive "home" to the accordions, pianos, guitars, electronic organs and synthesizers of our Farfisa collection, so that they could finally start living their life again and have the right historical location..
