Nunokawa Family Emergency Support

Hello everyone!
My name is Ai Sonomura. I have been a good friend of both Megumi and Hiroyasu Nunokawa since high school in Chiba Japan. Former residents of Utah, work opportunities took them to Indiana about three years ago. They have five children ranging in age from 18, with plans to head off to college in the fall, to 5. Over the years I have seen how much they have extended themselves to others, opening up their home, resources and hearts, helping freely and unconditionally.
They have recently learned of a serious medical condition afflicting Megumi that will significantly impact their family's lifestyle and livelihood for the foreseeable future. Hiro provides for the family, but they are not wealthy by any means, as Megumi has juggled raising the kids and finding ways to bring in additional income.
I am copying a portion of her own explanation of the situation from a Facebook post, so please read below to understand the more in-depth details. However, I truly believe it is time they become the recipients of some good will in this uncertain and challenging time for them. Many who are aware of their recent circumstances have asked how they could best assist, including being willing to send money, which is how we collectively decided this would be the most effective and convenient way to help them at this time.
Hi, Families and Friends!
Some people might be curious about my situation so I will share a brief of it !
I am hospitalized now because they found tumors in my heart and between the heart and lungs. The one in my heart is about 5 cm and the other is 3 cm and tangled in some tubes that connect the heart and lungs, making it hard to breathe, but I'm surviving for now.
I am so blessed to have great doctors to take care of this severe issue and they are trying to figure out the best treatments for me. There were some options, like open heart surgery or chemo therapy . Since this is a really rare case, the doctors are discussing from every angle every day. And for now, chemo looks like the best option to try. (UPDATE: Doctors have been determined that surgery is not possible. They are pending various test results to determine when and how to proceed with the chemotherapy).
It might seem like a huge trial, but I have already received so many blessings through this experience!

(Hiro stays with me all the time. Mia takes care of the other kids and so many families and friends are supporting us)

この度、布川恵美の緊急入院に伴いまして、この寄付金サイトを設立させていただきます。
私は布川夫妻とは、高校時代からの親友で、布川家がユタ州に住んでいた頃も、家族ともども仲良くさせて頂いておりました。3年前に布川家族は転職のために、インディアナ州に引っ越しました。布川夫婦には、今年の秋から大学生になる18歳の娘から6歳の息子まで、3男2女のかわいい5人の子供がいます。
布川夫婦は、5人の子供を育てる中で、どんなに忙しくても、困っている方がいるとすぐに助けに行くような、奉仕の人たちです。
今回の緊急入院によって、彼らの現在の生活と将来に、大きなダメージを受けています。

個人的にお知らせが難しいので、こちらから少しだけ現状報告を！
ただ今入院中でして、その理由は心臓の中に5センチ大、肺と心臓の外側に3センチ大の腫瘍が見つかり、多分リンパ腫ではないかと。外側にある腫瘍が心臓と肺をつなぐパイプに絡みつき圧迫しているせいで、呼吸が苦しいですがちゃんと生きています。
恵まれた事に素晴らしいドクター達のチームが私のために毎日検査と話合いを色んな角度からしてくれて、最も良い治療法を模索してくれています。 あまりにレアなケースなだけに、開胸手術か抗がん剤治療かで意見が二転三転しましたが、今のところは抗がん剤治療の可能性が高いようです。一見、厳しい試練のように見えますが、それでもすでに沢山の溢れる祝福を受けています。
1️⃣ 私には最高の家族と友達がいて、ものすごく愛されていること。
（ひろくんは常に私と居てくれて身の回りのことをしてくれます。美愛は自宅で子供達を家事をしてくれています。沢山の素晴らしい友達が毎日色んなサポートをしてくれています）
2️⃣凄腕のドクターたちのチームが見てくれている事（一人のドクターから、もし僕があなたの状況ならこのチームで診てもらいたいと言われました）
私には信じる宗教があり、信仰に寄って生きる者なので、どうぞ、どんな形でも言葉でもいいで、私のためにお祈りしてくださいね。お祈りの偉大な力を知ってます。
