Dear Friends,

My friend Maura Johnston's beloved cat Nuno was recently diagnosed with having several brain tumors. Thankfully, the neurologist believes that with a consistent treatment of steroids and radiation, Nuno's issues can be alleviated enough that he can survive for another 3-5 years.

The radiation is, of course, very expensive (the estimate is just under $8,000), just as the CT scan Nuno needed to be diagnosed ($4000) was. Nuno and Maura have been through a lot already, and the financial burden would make an already difficult situation worse. Please, if you are able to give, feel free to contribute what you can.
