Nunez Family Home Fire Disaster Relief
Donation protected
On October 13th, the Nunez family home and all their belongings were lost due to a fire originating with faulty wiring from their landlord's recent building modifications.
The fire broke out so quickly that Luz, the second eldest 22yr old daughter, was overcome by the smoke. She was saved by her brother, who bravely entered the building to retrieve her unconscious body. She was subsequently hospitalized for the burns and smoke inhalation.
Sadly, their beloved family dog, Pepper and cats, Baby, Piggy, Snickers, Mochi and her four kittens, were lost to the fire.
The six girls are now un-housed and dispersed between the homes of different families and friends. They all have immediate needs for clothing, toiletries, food and all the many essentials that we take for granted. Beyond the financial burden of the hospital costs, continued monthly bills remain the cost of rebuilding their home and broken lives.
Any donations are welcome, encouraged and appreciated tremendously!!
Thank you kindly for your generosity, thoughts and prayers...
