With profound sadness and heavy hearts we share the passing of John H Burton III on December 7, 2025. He was a dedicated father, brother, friend and attorney, known for his intelligence, wit, generous heart, humility, and love of sailing and surfing.

Among those profoundly affected is his daughter, Abigail Burton, a bright and ambitious young woman who is pursuing a degree in political science. Just as her father did.
