Hi my name is Helen and we need your help to restore Number 63 – Our Hotel, which is a Soroptimist Legacy situated on Bayswater Road, London, UK.

We are reaching out to Soroptimists ("Transforming lives of women & girls worldwide"), to our friends, and to everyone who believes in preserving historic places like Number 63 built around 1865.

To keep this beautiful listed building in good shape – and to ensure it remains a viable hotel for Soroptimists and the public – we need to raise at least £100,000 now. As a listed building, Number 63 needs significant investment to remain a safe, comfortable and attractive place for our guests. Despite the tireless efforts of our management team, the costs of essential repairs and upgrades are mounting.

However, every contribution, large or small, will help us to:

• Overhaul the existing plant room and plumbing systems over 4 floors plus a new boiler (£70,000+)

• Restoration to the Italiante bay window

• Mend or replace windows

• Purchase new carpets

• Repaint the building (requiring scaffolding)

• Upgrade our Front of House / Reception area

This will lead to:

• Securing the future of this unique Soroptimist legacy

• Continue offering a welcoming base in the heart of London for all Guests

• Keep Number 63 viable and comfortable for the next generation

Originally created for Soroptimists, we now also welcome friends plus national and international guests – helping us sustain this unique and historic property.
