Help Emma kick cancers arse!

Emma Wealleans

On the 21st of April my world and that of my family crashed. On that day, at the young age of just 34 I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Life as we know it has now changed and changed in a way we never thought imaginable.
Being a person who hates needles, hates hospitals and never had surgery before, to say I'm terrified is an understatement and I constantly ask "Why me?". After a lot of tears and the anger subsides, I realise that no matter what I do, ...this isn't going to go away. I have to get up, accept what's happened and fight and fight hard!! I have an amazing husband who I want to grow old with and 4 little boys who are the light of my life and who I want to see grow up. I'm sick yes, but I'm not dead yet! The road ahead is going to incredibly rough but I will stand tall and I WILL BEAT THIS BITCH!!!! I have too much to live for and too many amazing people in my life who I need and who need me.
My goal of this post is not for sympathy it's to raise awareness and funds not only for the Cancer Council or the Breast Cancer Foundation but also for the McGrath Foundation. I met my McGrath Foundation nurse last week and she really is an angel. The work and support this foundation do is amazing. She will make my journey that bit easier so please, if you see a stand selling bears or pens or if you are able to donate to any of these charities, please do so. Any amount helps and the more they raise, the sooner they can find a cure for cancer.
Lastly, ladies please check and know your bodies. I thought you always had a lump with breast cancer that you can feel but trust me, that's not the case. I knew something was wrong, went to the doctor and hear I am. Trust your instincts and please get checked if you ever doubt how you feel.
Anyway, sorry for the long post but thank you for those who read it.
At the end of the day, I'm going to look different and feel different but I will still be me. My boys need me so I WILL BEAT THIS BITCH AND KICK CANCERS ARSE!!!

This is Emma's post when she announced this horrible news. Now we are trying to raise some many for Emma and Andrew to help with Emma's medical expenses such as chemotherapy, surgery and radiation treatment. As andrew works away often and Emma has 4 boys she will most likely need help with cleaning and meals etc. So please donate to help this young beautiful mum kick cancers arse!
