The Fast Freddie Memorial Donation Drive is asking for donations to assist with saving Nuggets Life.

We always helped our community and other families who are in need, this time is is our family who is in need. We are in the fight to save our cat Nugget. Nugget came to the Lang Family in 2019 when she was found with her brother Jax as stray kittens. Nugget was one of the founding animals of the Lang pack.

We spent 4 months trying to get Nugget and Jax to be social enough for us to even touch, many people told me they would have given up on them but we didn’t. They became the most loving pets a family could ask for! Anyone who has met Nugget knows she’s always the first to run to the table to pets and a snack!

Fast forward to 5/22/23 we noticed Nugget was feeling well she wasn’t the loving cat we knew she wasn’t taking treats like normal but did eat some wet food. We took her to the vet who did a SNAP Test and it came back a weak positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) Nugget was vaccinated and was previously negative her who life up until now. She also is extremely anemic she had a red blood cell count of 12% which is critical.

She is fighting for her life at Garden State Animal Hospital in Titian Falls NJ. She has been hospitalized since Monday 5/22/23. We are looking at thousands of dollars in medical bills and treatments to save her life.

This isn’t far from over, if she does survive it will be a life long of medical needs and medicine that she will need to keep her alive.

Our family always helps others and it hurts us to have to ask for help. But we cannot save Nuggets life alone. Anything will help us manage the cost of her emergency life saving care.
