Nuggets eyes need our help…

Nugget has distichiasis.

Yup, it’s a bulldog thing, and we kinda knew things like this would come up… so yes we got pet insurance but we took her to the vet first cuz I was worried about her eyes because they didn’t look so good and don’t ya know it: Nugget needs eye surgery and the insurance won’t cover it as it was a pre existing condition.

she was born with eyelashes growing on the inside of her eyes and they have been scratching away at her dear little eyeballs all her life, it is painful for her and the left one has been infected since before we adopted her… she is in danger of getting an ulcer in it and that’s BAD guys… if this goes untreated it could be REALLY BAD and result in her loosing her eyes.

we have booked her surgery for July 7th.

The surgery plus after care will cost roughly $4000.00, we have $2000.00 ourselves but with my own current health problems we’re not able to work much and are a little tight for funds…

long meandering story short any help at all would be appreciated because we really just want this beautiful girl who surprised us by coming into our lives and bringing so much goodness to them to get all the happiness she deserves.
