Help a family with finances while battling COVID

My name is Janelle. To make it short. My entire family got COVID -19. All of my sisters, mom, dad, grandma and myself. Both of my parents are currently hospitalized and it has been the scariest experience of my life.. We have been trying to make ends meet with absolutely no income coming in while we all also try to recover ourselves.

My parents are Pastor Rigoberto Jr Lopez and Pastor Anna De La Rosa Lopez.

As some of you may know, my mom has battled Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and most recently Cancer. She has been getting regular chemotherapy treatments. She is definitely a strong woman and a fighter. She is an amazing woman who is loved by many and loves to help anyone and everyone she can. From buying someone new work shoes, to paying their months rent. My mom loves to bless others. Even while sick with COVID, she has asked me to stay in touch with her loved ones for her and remind them how much she loves them.

My Father is a loving man who gives most of his time to blessing others, visiting and holding church services for those incarcerated, writing them letters, praying over those in the hospitals, spending time with the homeless community and volunteering everywhere he can. My dad is the man who I've literally watched trade shoes and clothing with homeless men before taking them to the store and coming home in their clothes!

My poor dad almost lost his life two years ago due to another health complication, but he fought through it. But he has now been left with a very low immune system.

My parents love for humanity runs deep and I'm hoping and praying that through this time we will find the help and love we need.

Despite our efforts to quarantine, wear masks, take precautions, social distance and even getting the vaccine for those in our home who could. My mom and dad both contracted COVID -19 along with pneumonia. We don't know how this happened but it did. We were told by my mom's Dr that if she contracted COVID - 19 that she most likely wouldn't make it. But she is a fighter!! She is currently in the hospital on an oxygen machine praying to come home soon.

My Dad is currently in the ICU in a coma on a ventilator fighting for his life.

They are doing everything to help his oxygen levels to regulate enough so that he can wake up.

We have faith that he is also a fighter and will pull through!!

We are never ones to ask for money. But I felt the need to put my pride down and ask for help.

My mom is retired due to her illnesses. My sister Kimberly and I just lost our jobs the day our mom went into the hospital. My older sister Ashley, has Autism and is unable to work right now. My mom is her primary guardian and caregiver. She doesn’t understand what’s going on or why she’s so sick..

I’m taking care of her but it is hard on all of us❤️

This is terrifying. My sisters and I only have each other to lean on.

So we come to you guys in this heart wrenching situation and ask for help as we look for work.

Our dad is a contractor who has his own business. He is our primary breadwinner and ALWAYS pays our rent.

But now that he's in the ICU and we're being told there is a long recover ahead. We're nervous about how we're going to pay our rent ..Right now we have no income coming into our household at all and we’re already falling behind on bills.

We're praying that we can raise at least enough money for one or two months of rent.

That way we can focus the money we have now on hospital bills, regular electricity and water bills, and groceries.

We're really struggling.

But I do know that we have a lot of loved ones out there.

So please, even if it's change or a dollar. Any and everything helps.
