Nuestro querido vecino Alexis González cariñosamente “ El Gordo”, necesita de nuestro apoyo .
El 23 de Diciembre, Alexis quien carece de seguro médico tuvo que ser trasladado de emergencia a un Hospital en Caracas. El gordo estaba haciendo un trabajo de reparación en el techo de su casa y por pisar en falso, cayó en el pavimento sufriendo fracturas de tibia y peroné . Como sabemos sus más allegados, Alexis tiene su salud comprometida desde hace varios años, cuando se vio involucrado en un accidente automovilístico . A partir del año 1997 ha estado sufriendo infecciones en la pierna derecha y ha tenido que aprender a vivir con dos fístulas. Su familiar más cercano es una tía discapacitada que depende totalmente de sus cuidados . Es de todos conocida la situación de los Hospitales y Clínicas en Venezuela ( carencia de personal e insumos y costos en moneda extranjera US $ ) , por esta razón; apelamos a su solidaridad y compasión y les pedimos su colaboración en estos momentos tan difíciles donde va a requerir tratamiento , cirugía, rehabilitación y cuidados pre y post operatorio.
Estamos profundamente agradecidos, cualquier aporte será gratamente apreciado .

Our dear neighbor Alexis González affectionately "El Gordo", needs our support.
On December 23, Alexis, who doesn’t have health insurance was transported to a hospital in Caracas. El gordo was repairing the roof of his house and for stepping falsely, he fell on the pavement suffering fractures of the tibia and fibula.
As his closest friends know, Alexis has had his health compromised for several years, when he was involved in a car accident. Since 1997, he has been suffering from infections in his right leg and he has had to learn how to live with two fistulas.
His closest relative is a disabled aunt who totally depends on him for her care.
The situation of Hospitals and Clinics in Venezuela is known to everyone ( lack of personnel and supplies and costs in US $), for this reason; we reach out to you for help and compassion and ask for your collaboration in these difficult times where he will require treatment, surgery, rehabilitation and pre- and post-operative care.
We are deeply grateful for any contribution and for giving wholeheartedly.
