Friends in need

On September 13th, my good friend Wendi took her husband of 27 years, Chad to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for heart surgery. Since his surgery, he has had several complications requiring him to be on a heart-lung bypass machine at one point. He is currently on a ventilator in critical care. While he is getting stronger and better everyday, he has a very long road ahead of him. Wendi has been by his side the whole time. The hospital bills are growing each day and with both of them being off work for this extended period of time, one can imagine they are in need of support. I have known both Chad and Wendi for 17 years. They have been there for me many times when I needed them. Chad is a 46 year old Marine Corp Veteran who is an awesome father to 3 great kids. Two of the their kids are currently enrolled in college. With everything they have been through the last few weeks, I wanted to try to help take some of their financial worries away.
