In Loving Memory of Adam Meissner ♡
This past Saturday, an unimaginable tragedy struck, and our community lost a beautiful soul. Adam Meissner, a joyful, kindhearted and adventurous little boy was taken far too soon in a heartbreaking accident. Adam had just turned 10 years old and was a 4th grader at River Ridge Academy.
Adam was pure sunshine—radiating warmth, laughter, and love wherever he went. He had an incredible spirit, always eager to share, play, and make those around him feel extra special. Whether he was throwing a football, trading Pokémon cards, creating arts and crafts for his friends, or racing off to the skate park, Adam embraced life with boundless energy and excitement. He adored and cherished his older brother Evan, little sister Talulah, his cousins, friends, and every animal he met. His absence leaves an empty space in the hearts of all those who loved him.
The loss of Adam is felt far beyond his family—it resonates within his classmates, teachers, neighborhood friends, sooo many friends, and the entire community. His magnetic smile and kind heart touched so many, and his memory will forever be cherished.
As Adam’s parents face the unimaginable grief of losing their precious son, many have requested and suggested to create a GoFundme to help ease even a small part of their burden as support during this difficult time. Your donations will help cover funeral expenses, and more, allowing Adam’s parents time to grieve without having to be concerned with the burden of finances while they navigate their way through their tragic loss. Additionally, your support will assist with their healing journey, including grief counseling, trauma support, and other resources. Even the smallest gesture of kindness would mean the world to them. Your love, prayers, and support will help carry them through this heartbreaking time.
Adam’s love, light, and joy will never fade. He will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the blessing of knowing him.
Venture Church has planned a special Celebration of Life for Adam on Saturday, February 8th from 2pm to 4pm at Oscar Frazier Park. There will be a service and special activities for children, and treats from Kona Ice for families to enjoy as we celebrate the memories we have with Adam, remember his joy and light, and uplift Adam's family and friends.
With heartfelt love, gratitude and appreciation from the entire family,
Love,
Melanie Peck (Travis' aunt/Adam's great aunt) with the help of dear friend, Christa Conley.
