My name is Ashley Haas and I have metastatic breast cancer. Saying that out loud isn’t something I ever imagined I would say at 40. Things like back aches and knee pain and going to bed early were all expected, but not this.

A few months ago, I married my best friend. We bought our first home. We were on cloud nine, feeling like we finally understood what life is all about. I was lucky enough to go to work and make people feel their very best, and in return, it made me feel my best as well.

Unfortunately now, I’ll be spending the next 4 months on chemotherapy, followed by a double mastectomy and then radiation. This road I’m about to embark on has our family in uncertain times. We are already facing tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills, and there will be more to come. We need donations for healthy food and household bills so that I can focus on healing.
