Nancy and Chris Davis

Little Charlie Davis suffered a horrific drowning accident on the evening of St. Patrick’s Day.  Charlie was found unresponsive, without a pulse, without any sign of life in his tiny body.   Through the heroic efforts of Charlie’s older brothers, a family friend, first responders, and the immediate fervent prayers of our entire community, Charlie is ALIVE!!!!!  He miraculously defied all medical odds and with God’s guiding hands he is showing daily improvement.

However, this road of recovery will be long, winding and full of bumps and potholes.  As anyone who has faced a crisis of this nature will know, one of the largest, most burdensome holes will be financial. Charlie’s father is a one-man, self-employed owner of a flooring company.  Chris has been at the hospital since the tragic accident.  He has been providing a strong shoulder for his wife, Nancy, and a comforting presence for little Charlie.  But, if Chris isn’t laying floor, the income halts. Nancy is a part-time substitute teacher in our local school district, so relying on vacation or sick days will not be an option.

 Along with the loss of income, the looming medical bills will be catastrophic for this family of six.  Chris, Nancy, and their four boys are well known and well-loved members of our small community, and Charlie is no exception.  He brings such joy to whomever he meets- with his chubby cheeks and easy smile. This family is a pillar of our community and now is the time to lift them up in this desperate time of need. Not only in prayer, but in tangible ways as well.

We are petitioning friends, family, neighbors, and strangers to be Jesus’s hands and feet and help lift this crushing financial burden. Let’s witness another miracle, and give God all the praise, glory, and honor due His name!!!!!!
