Mom of 4 homeless after saving kids from intruder

My name is A'Leah Wallace, I am a single mother of 4 girls ages 9, 8, 4, and 2. After experiencing multiple break-ins in my apartment I was forced to obtain a firearm for the protection of me and my 4 daughters. This went against my apartment rules, however the provided no security or assistance with fixing the broken window thet gave the burglar easy access to my home. On the night of 12/14/2023, there were two attempts to enter the bedroom that 2 of my daughters shared. The police were notified after the first attempt. Less than an hour later, another attempt was made. I was forced to defend myself and my daughters, and this situation would result in the unfortunate death of a young

man. This situation alone has been very traumatic for my family, but in addition to this, I have been evicted from my apartment for exercising my second amendment rights.
