Ironman World Championships
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Kayla Morton,
Thank you for reading this blurb. I am 28 years old Australian who qualified to compete in the World Championships which will take place in Nice France. In order to make this dream a reality, I am starting this go fund me page to help cover costs associated with not only the cost of competing, but also the cost of training.
My family, my employers, work colleagues and friends have been incredibly supportive and I hope that by putting myself out there, there might be others who would be interested in helping me. From the bottom of my heart, any small donation would be truly appreciated. If you are a business and interested in donating, I am willing to wear your logo on my jersey. Also, if want to follow my journey, add me on instagram kayleslifeofironman where I will keep all the updates for tracking on the day.
The Ironman consists of a 3.8km swim, 180km bike and a 42.2km run. Training is intense and comes with a lot of sacrifices as well as juggling a full time job. But it is all worth it as a world champion qualifying spot is a once in a life time opportunity and really is a dream come true. After only a few years in the sport, I was lucky enough to make a huge dream come true last year qualifying and competing in Hawaii at Kona. Now I want to up the ante and show Europe what this Aussie can do.
