The Niekamp Family is a good family. They did not ask for a Go Fund Me Page nor would they ever ask; they are the type of people who deal with problems in a positive, never give up attitude. With this being said, each member of the family would give a person the shirt off their back if it could help out someone in need. Terry, the dad, and Cheryl, the mom, have raised four wonderful kids. Sadly, their 3rd child, Nate Niekamp, a freshman at St. Henry High School, was diagnosed with Sarcoma last week. Nate loves sports; if he is not tossing a football, he is shooting a basketball. After struggling with a hamstring issue for several months, he discovered a lump shortly after basketball season ended. It was not his hamstring that was bothering him; it was a tumor leading to the pain he was feeling in his leg. Nate and his family have been at Dayton Children's Hospital for a week, and his treatment to destroy this disease is starting shortly.
