Hi, my name is Amber, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my mom, Jennifer.
She was recently diagnosed with stage 3B triple-negative breast cancer—an aggressive and fast-moving form of cancer that requires immediate, intensive treatment. What started as a small lump has turned into a series of appointments, biopsies, and scans—mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs—each one bringing more difficult news than the last.
Her treatment plan is overwhelming. She is facing 24 weeks of chemotherapy starting in early May, followed by surgery—at minimum a mastectomy—and then radiation, with reconstruction to come later. Before chemo even begins, there are still more procedures ahead, including a PET scan and port placement.
On top of that, there are the many side effects and complications that come with treatment. She will likely have lymph nodes removed, which puts her at risk for lymphedema. There are additional therapies and care needs—like lymphatic massage—and preventative measures like cold therapy for her hands and feet to help reduce the risk of neuropathy. These are things that aren’t optional—they’re part of trying to get through treatment with the best possible quality of life.
All of this is happening while she is still a mom, raising two kids at home, and trying to hold onto some sense of normalcy in the middle of something that feels anything but normal.
In 2019, she and her husband, Patrick, built a women’s gym from the ground up. It’s more than a business—it’s a community. And now, as she steps away to fight this, that loss of income adds another layer of stress to an already overwhelming situation.
We’re asking for help to ease the financial burden—medical bills, daily living expenses, and the many added costs that come with cancer care—so she can focus on what matters most: getting through treatment and healing.
If you’re able to donate or share, it truly means everything to us.
Thank you for your support, your kindness, and for standing with our family during this time.
With love and gratitude,
Amber
