Hello everyone, we're writing this today to ask for your help. Our mom, Charlotte McAlpine, passed away from cancer on February 12th, 2025. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend to many people.

After mom was diagnosed with cancer, she underwent surgeries and treatments that, at times, we're very difficult. Eventually, she had to give up her job to focus on her treatments. Dad missed work to be able to bring mom to appointments. Kevin and Sylvia helped with transportation for mom's appointments, as well. At that time, Kim and I decided to move mom and dad in with us to help ease the financial strain from losing work, as well as the distance needed to travel for mom's appointments. Ashlee and Dustin would come over to help care for mom during the daytime and towards the end acted as live-in help.

We're reaching out to ask for help with paying for the cremation and services, per mom's wishes, and making a memorial garden in her honor, once it warms up. Additionally, there will be a celebration of life, as requested, in June on the property. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated and no gift is too small. If the goal is surpassed, any remaining funds will be used towards the memorial garden in the form of either a plaque or bench with her name on it.
