Who We Are
We are NTCG Bristol—a vibrant, growing church committed to serving the spiritual, social, and practical needs of our community. Our mission is rooted in compassion, fellowship, and providing a place of hope for all who walk through our doors.
Our History
The New Testament Church of God (NTCG) Bristol, South West UK (Charity No. 250306) has been a cornerstone of the local community since the 1960s. What began as a small gathering of devoted members at Upper Cheltenham Place in Montpelier soon flourished. By 1979, as our congregation grew, we moved to our current home at 141 Fishponds Road—a historic building from the early 1900s that has served generations of families with worship, support, and community outreach. This building is proudly owned by Bristol NTCG and remains central to our ministry today.
Why We Need Your Help
Today, we are facing an urgent challenge. Due to recent severe weather, the ceiling in our hall has become unsafe, rendering this important space unusable. We are now seeking support to complete essential repairs and restore the hall to a safe and welcoming condition.
This hall is more than just a room—it is a lifeline.
We use it for hospitality, fellowship, and overflow seating during significant services, including funerals. We also have a heartfelt vision to expand our community work through initiatives such as hosting SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Provision) to offer warmth and temporary accommodation to those in need during winter.
But none of this can happen until the ceiling is repaired.
How you can help us
Our goal is to raise £13,000.
Your contribution—no matter the size—will help us reopen this vital space and continue our mission to serve our community with dignity, compassion, and practical support. Together, we can restore our hall and expand the impact we are able to make.
You can help us by donating and/or sharing this page with your friends and family.
Thank you for considering a gift toward this important work.
Your generosity will help us rebuild, re-open, and reach even more people in need.
