Support Jesse's Journey to get back home.

Help support Jesse,

I am Sophie Bordelon and my 19-year-old brother, Jesse, who has Autism and Bipolar disorder, has been at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, MA, fighting Malignant Catatonia, a life-threatening psychiatric condition. Jesse has been in the hospital since April 26th. His Excitable Catatonia type went undiagnosed until he landed at Umass Medical Center ER with a head injury to the back of his head requiring stables and unstable vital signs (tachycardia, high blood pressure, high fever). My parents recently had to go to court to get ECT, a life-saving treatment for Catatonia, approved by the judge of Nashua Probate Court. My mother has had to take family medical leave from work. My parents have both been at the hospital every day since Jesse first needed hospitalization.

Prior to this hospitalization, Jesse had two part-time jobs, one at Apple Cinemas and one at Market Basket. He was just starting to train for the Lowell Bay State Marathon in October.

It takes a toll not only on my brother but on everyone in our family, causing emotional stress, uncertainty, and financial strain. Despite these hardships, we remain hopeful and committed to supporting him through his journey to stability. Your generosity will go directly to Jesse’s medical bills, treatment, and care until he is back on his feet and able to be back home and working again. Any contribution will make a meaningful difference during this difficult time for our family.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
