Hi, my name is Brian, and I started this GoFundMe for my sister, Wendy. Wendy has stage four cancer and was recently laid off, losing both her income and her health insurance at a time when both were especially crucial.

Her family and friends are helping as much as they can, and we thought we could hold her over until unemployment and disability kicked in, but we ran into yet another hurdle: when she applied for unemployment, she found out that someone stole her identity back in 2020 and used it to collect unemployment then.

Her case is currently being reviewed, and will hopefully be corrected, but that will take

time and she needs help now.
