My dad has been diagnosed with stage IVA lung cancer. That along with his other medical conditions make it difficult for him to do many tasks we all take for granted; one of which is taking a shower! I am trying to raise money to pay for a bathroom remodel for him. He isn’t able to get his legs up and over the bathtub and not in a condition to stand for an extended period to take a shower. I am able to save some money by being here to conduct the remodel myself but simply don’t have the money to buy all of the materials. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I plan to build him a shower that can be wheelchair accessible and the current size of his bathroom makes that an uneasy task that will require a complete remodel. For anyone that doesn’t know my dad very well, he is a Marine veteran from the Vietnam era, and the type of guy to give you the shirt off of his back!
