Hello, my name is Amanda, I am starting this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of my mother in law, Eilzete Santana.

We are raising funds to cover the costs of therapy and medical expenses for Elizete’s recovery. She was involved in a freak accident that has left her unable to walk. While insurance has provided some coverage, there are significant out-of-pocket expenses that we need assistance with.

This campaign is incredibly important to me and my family. Seeing my mom in law in pain and unable to do the things she loves has been heartbreaking. She is a strong and resilient woman who has always put others first, and now it's our turn to support her. Restoring her ability to walk will not only improve her physical well-being but also bring back her independence and quality of life.

The funds raised will primarily be used to cover the costs of ongoing physical therapy sessions. These sessions are crucial for my mom's rehabilitation and will help her regain her mobility and independence. Additionally, there is one more surgery that she needs, but we have to wait until her bones heal. The funds will also contribute to covering the expenses for a mobility van to get her to all of her post-op appointments and her physical therapy appointments associated with this surgery.
