Help an NSW Public School Robotics Team Compete at the FIRST® Tech Challenge European Premier Event!
A NSW public high school robotics squad—known as Crobotics—has made history as the only public high school team in Australia to qualify for the inaugural FIRST® Tech Challenge European Premier Event in Eindhoven, Netherlands, from July 1–5, 2025. Now, we need your support to make this once-in-a-lifetime journey possible.

Who We Are
Crobotics represents innovation, teamwork, and resilience. In a field often dominated by well-resourced private schools, our team of passionate students rose through the national FIRST Robotics Challenge ranks to earn a coveted spot on the international stage. We’re proud to carry the flag for public-school robotics in Australia.

About the Event
Hosted by Stichting STEAMup, the FIRST® Tech Challenge European Premier Event will welcome 96 teams from over 52 countries. Over five days at the Indoor Sportcentrum Eindhoven, participants will:
  • Engage in adrenaline-pumping robotics matches that test design ingenuity, strategy, and cooperation.
  • Attend workshops and panels on the latest STEAM innovations.
  • Forge friendships across cultures in an environment celebrating global collaboration and fun.

Why We Need Your Help
Getting 10 students and 2 teachers (mentors) to Eindhoven involves substantial costs:
  • International flights
  • Accommodation and local transport
  • Event registration fees and competition materials
  • Cultural-exchange activities to broaden our students’ horizons

To cover these expenses, we’re seeking to raise AUD 60,000—ensuring our team can focus on building and competing, not budgeting.

How You Can Make an Impact:
Any amount you can contribute will make a difference. But for reference:
  • $150 contributes to one night’s accommodation for one indvidual.
  • $500 helps to fund multiple nights of accommodation, food and local transport (train, bus) in the Netherlands.
  • $1,000+ helps to fund multiple nights of accommodation, international airfairs, food and local transport (train, bus) in the Netherlands.
  • Total trip per individual is approximately $7,500

Every dollar brings our public-school team closer to showcasing Australian talent on the world stage.
