Help Debbie fight cancer!
Donation protected
Cancer is the only thing in this world Debbie has been truly afraid of. She was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has been in and out of St. Luke’s with serious stomach issues for endless months. She has already had one surgery and is going to be having a Whipple procedure in the very near future.
A Whipple procedure — also known as a pancreaticoduodenectomy — is a complex operation to remove the head of the pancreas, the first part of the small intestine (duodenum), the gallbladder and the bile duct.
She is in horrible pain and her spirits are shattered. But if luck can be a term used in a heartbreaking situation like this, they caught it fast and she is stage 2 with high hopes the procedure will take it all out. She will have surgery at Essentia Health in the near future, then starts a long recovery.
While it hasn’t taken that sparkle out of her eyes, she is without a doubt feeling defeated which is not an emotion she is able to process. Debbie is missing work on a sole income and has decided to take everything one day at a time. She cannot do this alone but would never in a million years ask for help.
Debbie has so much to live for - her daughter, Chelse and all three of her beautiful grandchildren, Kaesyn, Kylee and Linkyn. They are the light of her life.
Let’s help ease some of the financial burden so that she can focus on her recovery and being the fearless, strong survivor that she has always been. This is not going to take her down - she is a fighter and will win this battle. Prayers, donations, and positive vibes are needed, so we ask you that you help in any way you can and appreciate anything with all our hearts.
