This site is for Lily Walker, a 17 year old girl from Havertown who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in March 2019. Lily is an honor roll student and an outstanding runner competing in both cross country and track.
Lily Walker was diagnosed with Astrocytoma, a stage 3 brain tumor, on March 16, 2019. In the past few years Lily has fought this brain tumor like the warrior that she is. She has been through 4 surgeries, 22 nights in the hospital, proton therapy, multiple rounds of chemotherapy and has been poked and prodded more times than we can count. Lily has kept a positive attitude, wonderful spirit and bright smile throughout all of this. She is an inspiration to all who meet her. She has faced more over these past few years than most have to face in a lifetime. She has multiple rounds of chemotherapy ahead. The treatments so far have had a positive effect on the tumor.
