We are raising money for Colon Cancer Research at the University of Miami. Our dad, age 51, went in for his first colonoscopy and was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer! We braced ourselves as we watched our hero begin his battle against cancer. Our dad immediately underwent surgery to remove one foot of his colon and once healed from surgery, he began chemotherapy. After 3 months of grueling chemo, our dad rang the bell signifying no evidence of the disease. Today, because of a simple test, our dad is alive and healthy!

Crush Colon Cancer plans to increase awareness of this rapidly growing disease. By 2030, colon cancer will be the leading cause of cancer deaths among adults under 50. Early detection can save lives!
