GABE'S T1D JOURNEY

On Nov. 5th, 2015, Gabe was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, at the age of 9. He has been such a trooper & handling this major life change with so much courage. There are often days that he feels down about Diabetes & all that that entails, but we cling to a good reminder, "Let's just Thank God that there is a medicine that keeps you alive".  We started doing research into Diabetic Alert Dogs & thought what an awesome idea to be able to have a well trained dog that sleeps with Gabe & can alert him when his blood sugar is high or low. Something that would be unbelievably valuable for not only Gabe, but us as the parents, who can't feel the feelings of the highs or lows. Not to mention... what a wonderful bit of joy that could be brought to our son through this valuable furry friend!  We'd love for your to partner with us in trying to bless Gabe with this amazing gift.
