My name is Chavonna and I am the proud sister of Jarontae Marcus aka "Tae Tae". Anyone who knew my brother would definitely say his smile lit up any room and his presence was definitely known. He was a charmer, the life of the party, and had a sense of humor that made any situation seem lighter just by cracking a joke.

My brother battled a lot of challenges throughout his life but always stood strong. He was unfortunately confined to the prison system where he would spend his last days on this earth. Just celebrating his 35th birthday on Sept. 8th, although under the circumstances, he still embraced being another year older, cracking jokes about how old he was getting and that he's blessed to have made it to 35. Within 48 hours after that, we received the unexpected news that he was found unresponsive inside his cell. Heartbreaking news to our family and very unexpected.

Our family unfortunately didn't have insurance on him and we are asking for any help that can be offered, big or small, to help celebrate the life of our beloved Tae Tae the way he should be celebrated.
