Help Tyler Fight Cancer

Hi, my name is Mike Nietz. I'm the older brother of Tyler Nietz. On Monday, April 18th, my brother was diagnosed with rectal cancer. We have found the mass is about the size of a fist. CT scans show possible spread to his lymph nodes. However, we will know more when he has his MRI on Monday, April 25th. Tyler is only 31 years old, has an incredible spirit, and is the kindest person I know.

 

We know radiation, possibly chemotherapy, and surgery will be part of his treatment. Our parents live out of state while they help our grandmother with ongoing UTIs. Because of this, Tyler may have to move back home with them to receive the best care he can. With that said, we're not currently sure whether his insurance will cover out-of-state care. We're asking for donations to help cover the cost of care and rent as he battles this cancer.
