Chicago has been dramatically affected by the 100% virtual school environment and no sports or recreation activities available youth. This has spawned an increase in violence across the city. As former Chicago Public School students-athletes, we want to do something about this. We are launching a recreation sports program that will create a safe space for kids to come during this difficult time. We will be adhering to all of the COVID participation guidelines to ensure the safety of our participants.
This 7on7 passing league would allow for two practices a week and 2 games a week on Saturdays. As a kid from the southside, I remember how important sports were to my life. This is a small way for us all to pay it forward. Help us make this possible.
