Our dear friend Sabrina is in the fight of her life against stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her sacral bone, liver, and lungs. Even through pain, exhaustion, and countless treatments, she continues to show up with her signature humor, strength, and heart. She is determined to heal and be here for her son, Zain.

After her diagnosis, Sabrina traveled to Oasis of Hope Hospital in Mexico, where she received 10 days of integrative cancer treatment including low-dose chemotherapy, IPT insulin therapy, and personalized vaccines made from her own T-cells and dendritic cells. These therapies gave her hope and momentum in this fight.

Because of the size and location of the tumors on her liver pressing on her vena cava, not all treatments could be completed at that time. Her team put her on a strict diet, supplement, and medication protocol to help shrink the tumors before returning for her next round of care.

In early October, severe pain led Sabrina to the hospital where she was admitted and has remained for ongoing care. She received targeted radiation treatments to manage her pain and reduce the size of the tumors. On October 22 she finally came home after three long weeks in the hospital. Through it all, she continues to meet every challenge with grace, grit, and her unmistakable sense of humor.

Most of these treatments, both conventional and integrative, are completely out-of-pocket. Sabrina is unable to work during this time. As a single mom, her greatest motivation is her son, and she is doing everything in her power to heal and be here for him. But right now, she is carrying not only the physical and emotional weight of this fight, but also the financial strain of medical costs and daily living expenses.
