Hi!
We are the NSB BTEC students, and this December we’re taking on an extraordinary overnight challenge to raise money for Charity Week — we’ll be rowing the equivalent length of 100,000 Killer Whales to support the amazing causes chosen by our school community!
Why We’re Doing This
Charity Week is one of the most important traditions at NSB. Every year, students and staff come together to raise funds for charities that change lives. In 2024, our school raised an incredible £11,300.82, and we’re determined to do even better this year.
Last year’s events included everything from leg waxing and netball matches to cake sales, marathons, rowing and cycling challenges, non-uniform days, festive jumper day, a staff panto, and the iconic XX Factor which included the legendary BTEC act, raised nearly £4,000!
Our Challenge
This year, we want to push ourselves even further.
We will row through the night — hour after hour — until we’ve completed the combined distance of 100,000 Killer Whales (yes, really!). It’s ambitious, exhausting, and totally mad… but that’s what Charity Week is all about!
How You Can Help
Your donation, no matter the size, will help make a real difference. All money raised will go directly to the charities selected for this year’s NSB Charity Week. Every pound helps us get closer to our goal and motivates us to keep rowing — even at 3am when our arms are falling off!
Thank you so much for supporting us.
Your generosity means a lot to our team and to the charities we’re raising money for.
