Help a Displaced Family of 7 Survive in Egypt
Donation protected
My name is Hadil and I am a Palestinian living in America, and it deeply saddens me to organize this fundraising campaign. However, I was forced to take this step in order to raise funds for my siblings, sister-in-law, 3 young nephews and baby niece, all of whom are currently displaced in Egypt without any means of survival after fleeing Gaza.
My family, including 4 children aged 1, 4, 5 and 7, were displaced to Egypt in March of 2024 without any money or other belongings after Israeli soldiers confiscated everything of value.
With your help, we hope to provide them $800 monthly for the next 6 months so they can pay for things including basic necessities, medical supplies for my injured brother, and schooling for the three oldest children. This comes to a total of ~$4800, including fees, in addition to the $3500 already raised and used for the family's expenses.
My brother and his family endured unimaginable hardships during their displacement from North Gaza to Rafah City before making it across the border. Our area was bombed, resulting in the destruction of our home and my brother's workplace, and all his belongings, including his business equipment and work vehicle. During the journey to evacuate Gaza, my brother sustained a severe foot injury, and his eldest son injured his hand. With your support, we can help them, my sister, and my baby niece return to a level of normalcy before they can go back to Gaza and rebuild their lives when things are safe.
