I have known Penny since I was born. She’s like a second mom to me. She is friendly and giving to all that know her, she loves to cook, entertain friends, and boat. 
On Friday, April 2nd around 12:30pm, Penny Funai and her partner Phil Broom lost everything in a condo fire at Carolina Beach.   They lost 51 years of valuables, pictures, and so much more. They are so lucky to be alive and Penny is so overwhelmed with everything. Many of you have asked how you can help. She has nowhere to put anything and could really use financial support because she will need to repurchase her necessities as soon as possible. If you can't support financially, thoughts and prayers are just as valuable to them. Penny and Phil can not thank you all enough for your support!
