Hello Everyone
This GoFundMe is for Christopher Gallagher and his family. Christopher is a husband and a son, who was recently diagnosed with nonseminoma testicular cancer stage 2. Chris never expected that at the age of 32 he would be told he had cancer.

Chris’s path to this diagnosis was a roller coaster of emotions. In March, early in the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris noticed an unusual enlargement in one of his testicles and decided he needed to see a doctor immediately. His primary care physician ordered an ultrasound which the radiologist concluded was simply a cyst. The physician referred Chris to a Urologist without much concern. The urologist had only received the radiologists report, which made no mention of a tumor, and upon initial examination the Urologist did not find evidence otherwise. The Urologist finally got the imagery after a second appointment to schedule surgery to drain what we all assumed was a cyst. He was alarmed to see that there appeared to be a 1.5 cm tumor that went unreported by the radiologist. The doctor called Christopher, and his wife Gabrielle, to discuss this development and ordered another Ultrasound and blood work before proceeding. The ultrasound showed a 9 cm tumor encapsulated inside of his testicle and an extremely elevated Beta-hCG level in his bloodwork which was a strong indicator for the suspected testicular cancer.
On July 23rd, 2020, Christopher Gallagher underwent surgery to remove the
9 cm tumor. Biopsy results concluded that it was nonseminoma cancer, containing seminoma, embryonal and yolk sac carcinoma germ cells.
Christopher is awaiting results of his full body scan to determine how far the cancer has spread to determine treatments moving forward. At this time, we are informed that chemotherapy will be the next step.

Christopher, his wife, family and friends are remaining positive and courageous his fight against cancer. Christopher has always been a happy go lucky person but has overcome obstacles in the past when he was 3 years old we was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. And like this condition he will overcome this too. Christopher and Gabrielle on June 6thof 2020 during the COVID pandemic, which was the highlight of the year, unfortunately a month later we found out Christopher had cancer which is not something anyone imagines having to confront in the first month of marriage.

Christopher is blessed to have such a supportive team behind him during trying time. Christopher’s wife Gabrielle, his parents Michael and Bernadette, as well as his in-laws Steve and Felicia Stone are right by his side rallying for his recovery. lending their love, support and guidance through this horrible time for Christopher and Gabrielle. Christopher also has his siblings, Jason and Keri Anne, sister-in-law Jenny, all of whom are able to lift his spirits by sharing in Chris’s sarcastic humor and focusing on the positives. His extended family, friends and coworkers have been phenomenal in their uplifting support to help in the fight to beat this cancer.

However, with medical bills pilling up and an uncertain future we ask for any and all help the community can offer to ease the stress of making ends meet.
Your generosity will help us pay for the expenses of his surgery, tests and chemotherapy treatments.
I am asking you to consider providing our family with financial relief during this difficult time, as well as, keeping Chris in your thoughts and prayers to give him the strength to win this fight against cancer. We request, with great appreciation, you share this with anyone who has the means to contribute in any way they are able.
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and extend our best wishes to you and your family through these challenging times we all face.
Thank you and God Bless
