Need Help Please First Responder PTSD Service Dog
Donation protected

Hi and thanks for your time to visit this Post.
I am 61 years old and a currently serving Correctional Officer In The Northern Territory Australia (20 Years Service)
Prior to This Role, i was an Ambulance officer for 6 years.
To save my relationship of nearly 30 years with my Darling and Patient Wife and 3 Son's it was decided after assaults. It was in Our families best interest to move from my first Correctional Centre (10 Years of Service) and Move to a Low-Security correctional Centre in another State (N.T).
But after 17 Years in service, The Ugly Head of the Black Dog started changing my outlook, interactions and reactions with family, friends
and work colleagues.
After being referred to an excellent Councillor that understood First Responder issues and helped guide me to seek more professional help.
I was diagnosed as having Chronic Post Traumatic Disorder.
Apparently, I locked up inside my mind so many issues from my days as an Ambulance Officer and in Corrections to try and shield my
Family and friends from the Brutal reality of normal community issues.
Thankfully I have been accepted by Young Diggers Charity to have my "Penny"
Trained to become a Service dog to help try and keep me grounded or let me know if my anxiety is starting to rise.
Any Funds Raised will go directly to Young Diggers Charity that are Helping me through this long process and associated Vet costs.
I thank you for your time if you have read this.
