“He Aint Heavy He’s My Brother"
Bobby Lloyd’s urgent need to share his burden.
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ – Galatians 6:2. As many of you know, the past year, I was diagnosed with Leukemia from toxins at Ground Zero, serving as an NYS Chaplain. I took a medical sabbatical, leaving Dianne as Interim Executive Director, and with Daniel's help, they have kept the ball rolling.
I was placed on low-dose Chemo and told I would be on chemo for the rest of my life. Fatigue, other side effects, and being immunocompromised took a toll on me.
I was in remission within six months and did not feel better. So the chemo was reduced.
Unfortunately, On Nov 3rd, I fell into my recliner, and it was all downhill from there!
I have been in the hospital and Rehab since Nov 3; after falling, I had a seizure and was taken to the hospital for observation. I did not break anything, thank God, but I was admitted to follow up on an seizure. While there, I got the RSV virus, then COVID, but by the grace of God, I made it through.
Oh, man! Now here I am on my back, trying to stand. Working daily to gain strength back. Thank God, all my medical and personal expenses are taken care of by the World Trade Center 911 fund.
BUT I NEED YOUR HELP WITH LICCV!
I am burdened at this time for the ministry I founded and built with all your help to become the leader in safety and protection from the sexualized culture in the Long Island Metropolitan area for 30 years. LICCV is in a severe financial crisis due partly to Post COVID and especially my absence.
I am the featured speaker and fundraiser for LICCV; I have been on light duty and just began to be able to share the ministry and BAM; this happens.
I need your help lifting this burden so I can heal and strengthen my body to continue the mission God gave me.
Please help us continue to make Long Island a safer place to live online and in the community by Giving a generous donation to LICCV through this Go Fund.
ALL PROCEEDS ARE DIRECT DEPOSITED TO LICCV.
Thank you for your care, concern, and prayers.
