On the morning of March 18th, 2020, our beloved Juan-Rico "Will" Sequoya Rodriguez passed peacefully after a very lengthy, hard fought battle. Juan-Rico is survived by his wife of 25 years, six amazing children, loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and dear friends. Though we wish he was here with us, sharing his laughter and spirit, we know that he is peacefully resting among the stars. 

Our family is so grateful for any and all support you may be able to offer in this already chaotic and scary time. We will be using all funds raised to support the costs of his funeral, medical expenses and other support for our family.  Together, we can make it through. 

All who knew Juan-Rico know that he was a bright light with a love of poetry and his Indigenous-roots. Juan-Rico loved to be in nature and to connect with the spirit of the Earth. He deeply loved his family, friends and community who love him with all they have. 

We thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your love, prayers and support as we grieve together as a family alongside all of the fear, grief and anxiety of our current world. We will be announcing services as soon as we are able.
