On March 13th, our lives changed in an instant.
Mateo and Rosa’s sweet baby boy, Ezequiel, was involved in a devastating accident that required him to be airlifted to the hospital for emergency care. At just 2 years old, Ezequiel is the youngest of six children — the baby of the family, full of life, laughter, and love.
Ezequiel is a fighter, but he has a long road to recovery ahead.
As parents of six kids, Mateo and Rosa are doing everything they can to be by their son’s side during this critical time. In order to ensure Ezequiel receives the round-the-clock care and rehabilitation he needs, both parents have had to step away from work indefinitely. Between the overwhelming medical bills, the cost of the life-flight, and everyday expenses of raising a family of eight, the financial burden has become incredibly heavy during an already heartbreaking time.
We are humbly asking for your help so this family can focus entirely on what matters most — Ezequiel’s healing and being there for their six children.
We also want to share an important message with every parent and caregiver reading this: accidents like this happen in the blink of an eye. Please take a moment to check your pool fences, make sure alarms are working, and never leave a child unattended near water — not even for a second. Our hope is that by sharing Ezequiel’s story, we can help prevent another family from experiencing this kind of pain.
No donation is too small — even $5 or $10 can help cover a meal, a hospital co-pay, or daily necessities for this family of eight. If you’re unable to give, we ask for your prayers and that you share this page with others.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and kindness. We truly believe God is watching over Ezequiel, and we are so grateful to have you standing with this family during such a difficult time.
