I’m one of Barbara Dejean Lamour’s daughters and I cannot believe I’m writing this. My mother was the most selfless person I knew. She lived in Rockland county for over two decades. She welcomed all of our friends as her own children. My mother was born and raised in Haiti. She was very strong , she was a fighter but pancreatic cancer was the only fight she couldn’t win. She was alive ready for church events and was in the front row screaming at our schools. She never missed a school event for me and my sisters. We want to bring her home to Rockland to give her the funeral that she deserves, and we thank you in advance for your contribution. Gone too soon , we will never forget you mom. Continue to sleep in peace.
