In Loving Memory of Jasmine — Funeral & Memorial Support

Our beautiful and strong Jasmine, only 20 years old, has been fighting for her life since August 16th.

Jasmine was born in Florida but has called Aspen home since she was a baby. She grew up in this valley and attended school here.

If you’ve ever met Jasmine, you know how special she is. She radiates kindness, warmth, and quiet strength. She’s an incredibly caring friend — someone who always puts others before herself.

Jasmine has worked at the local flower shop for many years, sharing her love for beauty and nature with everyone who walks through the door. Most recently, she began a new chapter working at the front desk of Hotel Jerome, a job she was so excited about. She loves snowboarding, fashion, and art, and dreamed of getting her driver’s license. She was just beginning to spread her wings.

Then, in an instant, everything changed.

In mid-August, what seemed like a simple cold or flu turned into a medical crisis: Toxic Shock Syndrome. Within a 24-hour period, this aggressive bacteria attacked all of her vital organs, causing kidney failure and serious damage to her heart, lungs, liver, and tissues. She was airlifted by Flight for Life to Grand Junction in critical condition.

Since then, Jasmine has endured multiple surgeries. Every day, she battles unimaginable pain, uncertainty, and fear — but she also clings to hope. She has a long road ahead, including future surgeries, rehabilitation, and the emotional weight of adjusting to a new reality. Only recently has she begun to fully grasp everything she’s been through.

This is a heartbreaking and fragile moment, but Jasmine is a fighter.

Her mom and brother have been by her side since day one, giving her everything they can. But this battle is far too great for one family to carry alone. The emotional, physical, and financial burden is overwhelming.

Now, more than ever, Jasmine needs her community to rally around her.
