Kenny’s Medical Costs

Kenny tested positive for Covid March 19th. On the night of the 24th he was having
trouble breathing and his mom and fiancée
Heather called an ambulance.
His oxygen was at 77 so
they took him to the hospital. Kenny was
admitted into the hospital into ICU the
morning of March 25th. He had both Covid
and pneumonia. His oxygen level wasn't
increasing so on March 27th at 3am Kenny
was put on a vent. After a couple unsuccessful attempts to wean him off he was finally able to come off the vent on April 8th. Unfortunately at this point he couldn't lift his arms or walk
and was pretty disoriented.

As of April 22nd Kenny is cleared of Covid and pneumonia and he is now able to lift his arms
and move his legs but he needs physical
therapy to get the strength to walk again.
His insurance denied inpatient therapy and
the hospital is trying to get him into a skilled
nurses facility but insurance will not cover all of the cost.

Any donations will be going towards Kenny's medical bills and other household bills as he
has been out of work and will be out of work
until he can walk again. Kenny and Heather
recently welcomed a new baby girl Harmony
into the world and Heather had just come off of unpaid maternity leave when Kenny was
diagnosed with COVID and then she had to
quarantine.
