I am a single mom to these handsome young men. Some of you may have been following my Facebook posts about the situation. So we moved from Springfield MO to Ozark MO in June for a new start after going through a few bad years in Springfield public schools. My two youngest suffered terribly and were in counseling because of it. The boys have just flourished in their new schools. Recently we were informed that our landlord didn't really own the house he rented to us. In fact he hadn't owned it since April. So the bank files an unlawful detainer for the house and then sold it to an investor. The investor showed up and told us we had a week to get out. I had to take several unpaid days off work to deal with this and application after application kept getting denied because of this lawsuit that was filed against me that wasn't my fault. I've been to two court dates by myself. The landlord never showed up and in the meantime kept sending threatening text messages. We ended up moving everything to storage two weeks before Christmas and was going to go to an extended stay hotel but at the last minute one of the applications went through because the nice lady bypassed the background check. Praise God! And the boys are in the same school! So we got into new place a couple days before Christmas and are getting settled but moving expenses and low paychecks have put us in a bind. I don't like asking for help but I truly don't know what else to do. Please help anyway you can. Even $5 is a blessing. If you can't help financially that's ok but please pray for our situation and I hope 2020 is an awesome year for all you.
