London Landmarks - The Brain Tumour Charity

Donation protected
Hi, my name’s Emily and I’m going to be running London Landmark’s half marathon in April for The Brain Tumour Charity.
In December 2023, we found out the devastating news that my brother Tom had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. This news completely turned my family’s worlds upside down as this came as a total surprise to everyone.
After many sleepless nights and endless worrying thoughts, my brother underwent successful brain surgery in September 2024 and has now recently, been given the all clear to return to normal life.
Having to watch my brother lose his independence and see my parents put on brave faces every day, was a truly heartbreaking experience.
I have decided to raise money for this charity to be able to help other people who aren’t as lucky as my family were.
With the money I raise The Brain Tumour Charity will help to find new treatments, offer the highest level of support and driving urgent change.
If I was to tell you 2 months ago I would be doing this, you all would have laughed in my face, having never ran in my life. But we’re giving it a go!
Always remember life is too short to not do the things that make you happy, tell your people you love them and never let anything hold you back!
Tom I am so proud to call you my big brother even though I could never say that to your face without you laughing at me.
Thanks for taking the time to read and thanks in advance for any donations made, a little will really go a long way!
Lots of love
Em <3
