Helping Jessica Eason
Donation protected
This message goes to the entire Law Enforcement community, friends and strangers alike to help out a little princess going through a rough time.
Several years back I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow police officer after being stuck on the side of the road. Deputy Gary D Eason from the Liberty County GA sheriff's office came to our rescue in our time of need and we formed a bond that two cops will probably have for life.
Gary has a beautiful 13 year old granddaughter named Jessica, which he and his wife have raised since Jessica was three months old. This past December, Jessica started to experience bad headaches and complained about blurry vision. She was given Tylenol which would help the headaches but by January, her vision started to become more blurry.
After an emergency MRI at Savannah Memorial Hospital, a golfball size tumor was found at the base of Jessica's skull by her brain stem. On Monday the 22nd of February, Jessica underwent an emergency brain surgery to remove the tumor.
Unfortunately the doctors could only remove about 75% of the mass due the fact that it had grown around her brain stem. After the surgery Jessica still has severe headache and now has to endure months of treatments.
After speaking to my brother and letting him know that I'm here for what every he needs, he said all he wanted was for me to keep Jessica in my prayers. That's all fine and dandy but I couldn't stop there. I have angels of my own and I know that my friends' prayers would help but won't pay the mounting medical bills.
Now my pitch, I've never asked anyone for anything, let alone for someone else. But I'm hoping that any brother or sister who could imagine what it must be like, to open their hearts and their wallets to help a brother and his angel. Anything that you can afford would be fine, from a dime to a dollar or more.
Thank you for your generosity and your patience.
